Background

Ann Gibney has been an interior designer since 1993. As well as a BS (U. of Denver) and a PhD (University College, U. of London), she holds a certificate in interior design from Portland Community College (Oregon). A professional member of the Northwest Society of Interior Designers (from 1997-2004 and 2008 to present), Ann was a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers during her residence in Gloucester, MA. She holds NCIDQ certificate number 020031.

Awards and Publications

These include Best Kitchen and Best Floor Plan, NW Natural Gas Show of Homes 1997; Second Place Interior Design and Second Place Floor Plan, NW Natural Gas Show of Homes, 1996; Third Place Interior Design, 2001 Street of Dreams, and Best Value, Street of New Beginnings 2004.

Ann has been nationally published in Better Homes and Gardens Home Plan Ideas, Fall 1997; Home magazine, March 1997; Decorate with Paint, September 1999; and Window and Wall Ideas, Summer 2001.

Experience

Ann has been involved in a wide variety of commercial projects, such as dental offices, corporate spaces, and restaurants. A very large number of residential projects span the gamut from small bungalows to million-dollar homes.
